There is something wonderfully strange about handing a little weight from a piece of string and then asking it a question.
Is it moving because something outside of us is answering? Is our subconscious doing the talking? Is it intuition? Is it the ideomotor effect? Or are we simply standing in a coffee shop holding a tiny piece of jewelry and expecting the universe to settle an argument we could probably solve ourselves?
Well... tonight we're going to find out.
In this workshop, we're getting into the old art of dowsing and pendulum work, from traditional dowsing rods and water witches to modern pendulums used for divination, energetic work, and intuitive practice.
We'll talk about the history and folklore surrounding these tools, how different traditions have used them, and, perhaps most importantly, how to actually work with one without immediately deciding that every little twitch is a message from the…
